Deev Vanorbeek creates a world of gigantic insects. He plays with a disproportional reality that enforces respect. His work becomes a twiddle of lines with no end or beginning. It seems as if light and darkness, transparency and compactness contribute to the graphical aspect, as in writing.
It makes the observer question some specific values of the artist’s work, constantly balancing between creation and decoration, life and death, fear and humour.
Today Deev turns himself towards abstract art. He invites you to discover his work in his workshop or his website. |

Josep Castell is a sculptor of international renown. His most monumental work is at the old checkpoint Alpha in Berlin. This statue was inaugurated in October 1993, and weighs a mere 50 tonnes!
