This medieval village of 200 inhabitants is situated at 8 km from Limoux, in a valley on a side of a small river, on the road to the Corbières. The impressive fortified church which is at present the village church, used to be part of an abbey built in 811. These old buildings are the witnesses of a past greatness. As you walk around the village you will discover ancient streets and old medieval houses. An aqueduct dated back to the Middle Ages, crosses the river. A flood must have taken away part of it as the arches date from two eras.
