The 2 houses are part of an ancient Abbey dating back to the 8th century. The houses are situated in the heart of a medieval village, on a small road leading to the Corbières, 30mn South of Carcassonne.
They have been entirely renovated retaining all the original medieval features : stone arcade, sink and walls. They are delightfully cool in summer due to the thickness of the walls.
The Main House, sleeps 12, large family house with 2 acres of private enclosed & shaded garden
The Shepherd's House, sleeps 4, situated next to the main house, it has a small private enclosed garden.
The 2 accommodations have the use of a beautifull 5x8m pool with a paddling pool for young children, a solar shower and a play area. The pool is 200 yards away and shared with 4 more gites.
