An easy walk on the crests of the hills surrounding Caudeval with spectacular views of the Pyrénées

Despite the bad weather when we made this walk in November, we could still admire the fantastic views.

The departure point is near the chateau de Caudeval, follow rue du Cimetière then take a right turn into rue du Parc and follow the path.

The path veers right and opens out into a wide path bordered by native old oaks. Take the first steep path on your left which will lead you to the top of the hills.

On your way down take the first path on your left.
Be careful it is easy to miss.
It's muddy in autumn but beautifully shaded in summer.

Follow this path until you reach the village. Take the rue Haute back to the chateau.
