Marker : GR7 and

An easy walk on the crests of the hills surrounding Hounoux following the famous track GR7 with spectacular views of the Pyrénées

Starting point -> the Town Hall at the top of the village.
Go down towards the cross and follow the GR7 marker leave the village.

After the bridge, take the track on the right (GR7). After 20 mn walk, go straight across the road D463 from St Gaudéric to Escueillens.

Walk through the wood then follow the narrow path which goes up to the crest of the hill . (1) On your way up you will have a superb view of the villages of the Razès : Fenouillet, Montréal, Bellegarde and Escueillens.

(2) When on the crest, follow the GR7 on your right, (3) at the intersection keep on your right towards Hounoux. (4) Stay on your left.

(5) Leave the GR7 and turning right take the graveled road towards "Hounoux par le sentier des crêtes". From now on follow the marker

(6) At the next junction go straight on.
(7)You're getting onto the road D763, turn right.
(8) Then left direction Raffègue and Ginestas.

(9) Take the track on your right which will lead you back to Hounoux
